Mr. Omesh Sethi
Director
Omesh, a qualified Chartered Accountant in 1984 has more than 34 years of experience in Automobile, Electrical and Pharmaceutical Industries. He did his B.Com.(Honours) from University of Delhi. He had started his career with JMA-Hella group in 1984. Later he moved to Pharmaceutical Industry by joining Ranbaxy Laboratories Limited, an Indian MNC in 1989. He has spent more than 22 years holding various key positions in India and abroad. During Ranbaxy's major expansion phase, he managed Finance and Commercial portfolio for all major Projects, R&D, and Diagnostic Manufacturing. Then he moved to Corporate office to handle Business Finance role for all Joint Ventures / Wholly Owned Subsidiaries / Associates Companies, Manufacturing facilities in India and abroad. His international posting to USA in 1998 was quite an enrichment whereby he facilitated Ranbaxy's entry in to Northern Americas which grew to over US$ 500 million in 2006. During his tenure in the USA, he managed to expand the business to yet another country Canada. In 2006, he moved back to India to take over Corporate CFO role. After acquisition by Daiichi Sankyo, Omesh grew to the level of President & Global CFO handling Legal, Business Development, Mergers & Acquisitions, Secretarial and Information Technology functions in addition to his normal responsibilities. .He was on the Board of Directors of many Ranbaxy entities in India and overseas. He has travelled extensively to all major markets in Asia Pacific, Europe, CIS countries, Africa, America, Canada, Mexico, Japan, etc. After leaving Ranbaxy in 2011, Omesh started his own pharmaceutical venture by forming SOLMEDIC Limited, a marketing company for distribution of pharmaceutical products in India. He entered into Joint Venture Agreement with SPL for marketing its products and took over the majority stake in 2013. Under his guidance, SPL's turnover has grown from Rs 5 Crore in 2011 to Rs 56 Crores in 2017, registering a compounded growth rate of 50% He is the Managing Director of Standard Pharmaceutical Limited.
Mr. Lalit Sethi
Director
Lalit is the Executive Director of SPL and joined the company in 2012.Lalit is a Chartered Accountant having post qualification experience of approximately three decades. He did his Graduation in Commerce from Delhi University. Prior to joining SPL, Lalit worked withTilaknagar Industries Limited, a Bombay based Liqour Company as President and CFO. He was responsible for value creation of the company and dealing with Bankers, Financial Institutions, Research Analysts, Investment Bankers and Funds Managers. During his tenure, he also raised funds from banking and capital markets. Prior to Tilaknagar, Lalit worked with HPL Additives, a chemical Manufacturing company and was responsible for Factory Operations including Manufacturing, HR, IT, Statutory Compliances and liasioning with Government Departments including Pollution Control Board, Explosive Department, Chief Inspector of Factories, Sales Tax and Excise authorities. Further, during the initial phase of his career, Lalit worked with Dabur India Limited and Oberoi Group of Hotels.
Mr. Tarun Mall
Director
Tarun is the first generation Entrepreneur with experience of more than two decades. He has been associated with SPL since 2005 and was earlier part of promoter group of the company. He did hisGraduation in Commerce from Mumbai University and had been carrying out his family businesses of Jute, Real Estate, International Trading and Information Technology prior to joining SPL. His core competence lies in Trade Sales and Factory Operations.
Mr. Bhawani Prasad Dey
Director
Bhawani did his post graduate in marketing from Kolkata University. He started his career with SPL and has been associated with the company since 1987. He is handling Institutional Sales of the company. Bhawani has also established his name in the Institutional Market. He has been instrumental in the expansion of Institutional Sales from West Bengal to cover additional institutional business from Delhi, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Sikkim, Bihar and Oridsha.
Mr. Sagar Mandal
Head of Factory Operations
Sagar is the Head of Factory Operations. He joined SPL in 2017. Prior to SPL, Sagar has worked as Plant Head in Swiss Garnier Genexiaa Sciences and Ankur Drugs and Pharma Limited. Sagar is Graduate in Pharmacy from Kolkata University. He brings in over two decades of solid Pharma Manufacturing and factory management Experience. He manages manufacturing facility, all compliances relating to cGMP, cGLP, WHO acreditions, ISO 2000 9000 certification, Drugs & Cosmetic Act, Environment & Safety, Factory Act, etc. He is instrumental in to improving and strengthening production processes and documentation resulting in operational efficiencies. His edge on Technology is bringing new and better ways of doing production and continuous innovation.
Mr. Avijit Dutta
HR, Legal, Finance and Administration
Avijit was the first one to join Sol Medic Limited in 2011. His initial role was Head of Administration. He managed several structuring and restructuring exercises at the time of acquisition of majority stake in SPL. He is currently heading HR, Legal, Finance and Administration functions of SPL. Avijit is Graduate in Commerce having more than 26 years' experience in Pharmaceutical Industry. His last association was with Glenmark Pharmaceutical Limited, where he spent approximately two decades.
Mr. Dwijasish Bhattacharya
Strategic Procurement and Logistic functions
Dwijasish joined SolMedic Limited in 2012 as a Purchase Manager. His role has grown multifold after acquisition of SPL. Currently Dwijasish heads the Strategic Procurement, Projects and Logistic functions of the Company. Dwijasish has been an important member of the Project team. Dwijasish is Post Graduate in Supply Chain Management from Kolkata University. Prior to joining SPL, Dwijasish has worked for Pancea Biotec Limited as Officer for 9 years.
Mr. Santanu Chakraborty
Head of Quality Assurance
Santanu joined SPL in 2017.He is Head of Quality Assurance Department. Santanu is Master in Science from Kolkata University and also Master in Business Administration. Santanu has 7 years of post-qualification experience. Prior to joining SPL, Santanu has worked for Fresenius Kabi Oncology Limited.
Mr. Saugato Basu
Regional Business Manager
Saugato started his career with SPL and has been associated with the Company for the last 17 years. He had started as a Medical Representative in Trade Sales Department and is now the Regional Business Manager of the Eastern Region. Saugato is Post Graduate from Kolkata University.
